Brief Description:
A deep, near-uniform black natural stone with very low visual movement and an elegant mirror polish. It is one of India’s most commercially important black stones.

Specifications:
Black to jet-black; fine to medium grain; typically 18/20/30 mm; polished, honed, leathered and flamed finishes.

Applications:
Kitchen countertops, islands, vanity tops, flooring, staircases, façades, wall cladding, monuments and memorials.

Origin / Source:
South India, particularly Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, depending on the commercial grade and quarry. Different sources marketed as Absolute Black can vary in consistency.
